Route

The start is at the bottom of the Muncaster Fell Lane, about a 5-minute walk from the car park.

There will be a cut-off time of 1300 at the first river Esk crossing point, between CP2 and CP3.

Note that the route from the final checkpoint, at the Pepper Pot, to the finish in front of the Castle, will be marked with flags. Take care at the crossing of the A595 and follow marshal instruction.

There is no need to climb walls or fences on any part of the route. Anyone caught doing so WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
