A glorious day at the Sheepmount, Carlisle for the County Championships saw some good, solid performances and new personal bests for Ellenborough Athletes. The result of the day was for Charlotte Orton who at 16 years of age is now competing in the Senior Women category. Charlotte scooped three gold medals. The 100m, 200m and Long Jump.
Other notable performances were Senior Woman Chloe Cartmel with a gold, silver and a bronze, U13 Kate Southwell with a gold and a silver, U11 Rosie Lawler with a silver and a bronze in her first major competition, Thomas Adams with a silver and a bronze, Holly Adams with a silver and a bronze, Courtney Gresty (Senior women) with two bronze, Megan Featherstone (senior women) with a silver and both Brad King and Sam Wright with a bronze medal each.
